A DMX splitter is a device that takes one DMX line and converts it into 2 or more DMX lines. It copies and regenerates the DMX signal to multiple output channels and is used when the maximum number of devices per DMX bus run is exceeded. A dmx splitter boosts the DMX512 signal for long-distance transmission.
